Far More Than a Week in Paris

Most France tour packages from India hand you Paris and a headline price. We work the other way around. France is a whole holiday in one country: the art and the avenues of Paris, the chateaux of the Loire, the lavender and light of Provence, the glamour of the Riviera and the high Alps above them. The mistake is treating it as a city break with day trips, when it is really several trips that happen to share a border.

What changes everything here is which regions to combine and when: the south is loveliest in the shoulder months, the Alps flip between skiing and hiking, and August empties Paris and fills the coast. That judgement is what we bring. You tell us who is travelling and what you are imagining, and we shape a France that fits, then handle the parts that usually go wrong.

The Best Time to Visit France

France runs from northern cities to a Mediterranean coast to the high Alps, so the best time depends on which France you are after. Here is how the year works.

May to SeptemberPeak Season

Summer, the north and the cities

Paris, the Loire and the north warm and open, the countryside golden, the whole of the lowland country at its liveliest.

The broad sweet spot, though August is when the French themselves take their holidays and Paris quietens.

April to June, and September to OctoberPeak Season

The south's shoulders

Spring and autumn are pleasant for touring Provence and the Riviera, with long evenings and less of July and August's heat and crowds. Lavender blooms roughly mid-June to August.

Our favourite time for Nice and the coast.

July and AugustPeak Season

High summer, coast and mountains

Hot and busy on the Riviera, and Paris half-empty as the city decamps, but this is prime hiking season in the Alps around Chamonix and Annecy, the mountains at their green and open best.

December to March

Winter, the Alps and quiet Paris

The French ski season in Chamonix and the high-altitude resorts, with snow depending on the year and the resort, while Paris is cold, atmospheric and low-season between the crowds.

Entry and Visa, in Plain Terms

  1. Step 1

    Start Early

For Indian passport holders, a trip to France needs a Schengen visa, so it is worth starting early.

  2. Step 2

    Nothing to Chase

It is not something you need to chase yourself.

  3. Step 3

    We Handle the Application

We confirm the current requirements for your passport, tell you what to prepare, and handle the application as part of the booking so it is done well before you fly.

One Tailored Trip, Not an Off-the-Shelf Package

The difference is in the joins. We book the flights that suit your day, put you in the right arrondissement or village, sort the visa, and arrange the fast trains and the transfers so no one is standing in a grand station wondering what happens next. The museum timings, the Loire chateaux, the Riviera days, all pre-booked and sequenced so the trip flows instead of stalling.

None of it is a fixed bundle. It is one tailored trip, priced and shaped around who is travelling and what matters to you, with a real person accountable from the first message to the flight home. If a plan needs to move while you are there, you call us, not a call centre.

France Questions, Answered

When is the best time to visit France?

May to September is the broad sweet spot, warm and open across the country, though the south is loveliest in the shoulder months either side of the summer heat and crowds. Winter belongs to the Alps and their ski season, with Paris cold and quietly atmospheric. August is when the French take their own holidays.

Do Indians need a visa for France?

Yes, France needs a Schengen visa, so it is worth starting early. It is not something you chase yourself, though. We confirm the current requirements for your passport and handle the application as part of your trip.

How much does a France trip cost?

France spans every level, from smart and sensible to genuinely grand, so there is no single answer. Rather than sell you a fixed package, we shape the trip around your budget and tell you honestly where it is worth spending, on a hotel or a meal, and where it is not.

Is France only about Paris?

Not at all, and that is the point. Paris is the start, but the Loire, Provence, the Riviera, Bordeaux and the Alps are each worth a trip of their own. We combine two or three so the holiday has range, rather than parking you in the city for a week.

How many days do I need in France?

Most France trips sit well at eight to twelve nights, enough for Paris and a region or two without rushing. Five to six nights suits Paris plus one add-on, and fourteen or more opens up the Alps, Bordeaux or the south-west.

Is France good for families?

Very. Cities, castles, beaches and mountains sit close together, the trains are fast and easy, and the food wins children over. We plan the pace and the mix around the ages travelling.
